From the Diary of William Thomas, 1762-1795:

"25th Jan 1764 - Was buried in St Faggans from St. Brides, for she lived there in the Fortu, Ann Lewelin, alias Morgan, sister to Thomas Lewelin of Yscobor Vawr and wife of William Morgan, of 50 years of age, from few days sickness in the fever.

This woman when she was a maid and in love with this man and he left her and went to the company of another, that she pined to nothing till he again returned and married her. She had two sons from him. Many are dying from the fever from and about Lantrissent."
